  Why does my WordPress website show a 403 Forbidden error on all pages and subdomains when accessed normally, but works fine when opened using a VPN?Details:

  • 403 Forbidden error appears on main site and all subdomains
  • Website does not load on normal IP
  • Website loads correctly with VPN
  • Server resources (CPU, memory, disk) are within limits
  • Issue affects product and catalogue pages

  This confirms the problem is not related to server load or hosting limits.Observations:

  • Permalinks and database are not the issue
  • The problem appears to be IP or country-based blocking
  • Likely caused by:
    • Hosting firewall / ModSecurity
    • Cloudflare WAF
    • WordPress security plugin
