403 Forbidden; Security and SSL Error

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

My page was running normally, however it’s been saying “not secure” every time a guest visits my page. Recently, my page is not accessible to visitors—an error reads “403 Forbidden, Cloudflare Error”. Please help me work through this issue. Thanks

  • Sorry to hear that! Can you send the error and a link to the site?

If the site isn’t hosted with us, we most likely can’t help much. Given the cloudflare part I doubt it is. But here are a few ideas:

    – Check to see if you have an admin email with clues

    – Ask your host to check error logs. You can check in with Cloudflare support, too.

    – If this happened with a recent theme or plugin update or install, you can manually remove one like so (especially if it’s mentioned in errors):
    https://wordpress.org/support/article/managing-plugins/#manual-uninstallation

    – Ask your host to help you restore a good backup

Going forward, you’ll also want to use the correct forums for self-managed installations:
    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Or, you’d be welcome to migrate your site to our services. You can find our pricing here:

    Hoping this helps!
