403 Permission Denied

  I can see my website but it won’t let me login to edit anything I keep getting the 403 Permission Denied. What can I do? I deleted my history but that didn’t change anything.

  Hi there, I took a look at the site you listed, but I don’t see any trouble there.

  Were you referring to a different site? If so, would you please let us know the URL of the site with the problem?

  Once we know that, we’ll be able to either help or at least direct you to the folks who can.

  Hi @heathergrilliot, the site isn’t hosted here with us, so it’s a bit trickier to see what’s going on from this side. But can you check with your host to see if you’re being blocked or if there’s an .htaccess file restricting access?

  Also, be sure you’re logging in here:
  http://www.grilliotphotography.com/wp-admin

  If it doesn’t work the first time, you will want to reset the password rather than trying again — sometimes too many failed login attempts in a row will trigger a block by your host.
