404 after changing permalink (slug)
-
Hi.
After changing the permalink of an existing page, I have a redundant (404) url that does not appear my list of pages and, as such, can’t delete it.
Any idea how I might be able to remove it? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No problems – http://getspringtime.com/online_timesheets_are_better/
Thanks for your time.

Oh I am sorry – the orginal request said ‘The blog I need help with is bigredzed.wordpress.com.’ In fact it is my getspringtime.com (which I think was springtimeapp.wordpress.com). Sorry for any confusion caused. The problematic url I have provided is, however, correct. Thanks again.

Hi – while this is not yet fixed, I have fiddles quite a lot with this today so I don’t think you’ll be in a position to assist me. Thanks for your time and input.

We won’t be able to help you regardless because you are posting in the forums for WordPress.com, the hosted version.
Just to clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress are entirely separate. If you need assistance with your standalone install of the WP software, you’ll need to post over at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username there, you’ll need to register one.
This will explain more: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

@justjennifer – I am well aware of this.
This was for a wordpress.COM account. A paid account. With a custom domain. There was probably enough information in my previous posts to have worked this out – see post timestamped Feb 25, 2015, 9:53 AM – so I am surprised you did not pick this up.
Now let’s shut down this thread, shall we?

http://www.getspringtime.com/ is a WordPress.ORG blog. You are still in the wrong forum.

@raincoaster It is NOW, but it wasn’t THEN. I changed it from com to org about 6-8 hours ago. Indeed, the DNS servers in my part of the world haven’t caught up to that change yet.
Why do you think I asked for the ticket to be shut down? Once I transferred it off wordpress.com I was not in a position to be assisted by @timethief or other forum members. Up until then, though, I was.
My wordpress.com account still shows the old custom domain setup under My Domains. It worked just fine and I received support on other matters because AT THE TIME I was on .COM.
But that is not the point. I attempted to shut down this thread once I pointed my custom domain away from COM. So, again, this thread is closed.

Sorry – I keep trying to mark it resolved. My bad. I’ll try to mark it resolved again now.
