Hello!
Thank you for reaching out to the free support forums for websites hosted on WordPress.com. While your site is not hosted with us, we’re here to guide you in the right direction for assistance.
Since you’re using the open-source version of the WordPress platform, which operates differently from what we provide on WordPress.com, you can find help at the community forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The community members in the open-source forum are well-versed in these matters and are in the best position to offer support.
I hope this information helps guide you in the right direction. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions or need more assistance.

It’s essential to distinguish between three different versions of “WordPress” to avoid confusion:
- The free, open-source WordPress software that powers your website.
- WordPress.org, the open-source project where you can obtain the software for free to use on your chosen hosting provider.
- WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.
Since your site isn’t hosted with us, we don’t have access to nor the ability to make any changes to it to fix the issue.
As you’re having server-level errors, I recommend contacting your hosting provider for assistance with this issue. They host your site’s files and have the necessary access to help you identify and resolve the problem. If you’re unsure who your hosting provider is, you can use a website like Hosting Checker to find that information: https://hostingchecker.com/
I hope this clarifies things!

The DNS records are set by your host (and there are many different web hosts) so there is not a default record that all WordPress sites share.
Based on the DNS history of your domain, I can see that your most recent host was Ezoic for example:

I assume that you are trying to connect to the existing site that you have hosted there? If so, you will need to contact Ezoic and confirm what settings they recommend for your domain so that a connection can be made. Sadly we do not host your site here at WordPress.com, so there is nothing we can do on our end to assist.
If you wish, once you are connected you can transfer your site to our managed hosting, which is secure, stable, high-performance, and includes access to our support staff for any questions that you have:
Use the Move to WordPress.com plugin to migrate a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com. Follow the steps in this guide to import your site (including your content, media, plugins, and theme) directly from your wp-admin dashboard. Prerequisites To follow the steps in this guide, you will need: Your source site: a WordPress site with any other hosting provider (referred to as a seHope that helps. It sounds like you are needing help with the Jetpack plugin, but have landed on the support forum for WordPress.com sites instead. Can you please report this issue to Jetpack support by asking here? Thanks!
