Hi Jim – This site? http://jimwork.com/
I’m not getting any error. Are you still seeing it? Are you having any problems loading other sites, or only your own blog?
Could you please make a screenshot of the error and upload it to your Media Library so I can take a look? Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

Hi Jim – I don’t understand how you’re getting to that link. Can you please link me directly to the page or post where that link appears, or else make a screenshot of what it looks like?
-
http://jimwork.com/cgi-bin/redirect.ha
I hope this works, I have no problem taking the screenshot, but it goes to my desktop and I cannot find how to paste it to the forum.

Hi Jim – I can click through the link you’ve provided, but what I’m unclear on is where you’re getting that link in the first place.
That link will 404 since there’s no such page on your blog and that particular URL is a 404 redirect, but why are you going to that URL? Is it posted somewhere on your blog or on another site?

file:///Users/jimwork/Documents/Page%20not%20found%20%20%20jimwork%20-%20Photographer.html

Hi Jim, I can’t access that. Can you please upload the file to your Media Library, and I can look at it there?

Hi Jim – Again, I can see the 404 screen at that link. What I need to know is, how are you getting to that link? What has led you to type jimwork.com/cgi-bin/redirect.ha into your browser’s address bar?
Did you see that link posted somewhere? Did you click a link on some other page or site, and it led you there?
-
I type jimwork.com and this is where it goes, I have cleared my cache, tried deleting the /cgi-bin/redirect.ha, but it goes right to jimwork.com/cgi-bin/redirect.ha.

I did just try it again using safari as my browser, but on google chrome it go to the redirect address……..j

Hi Jim – Oh, ok. I’m sorry I didn’t understand. It goes to your site in Safari, correct? Can you please try clearing your cache in Chrome?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookiesDo you have trouble loading any other pages in Chrome, or only your own blog? For example, can you load the blogs from this screen ok?
http://wordpress.com/fresh/What version of Chrome are you using?
-
Clearing the cache in chrome would not fix it. I uninstalled chrome and reinstalled it and it is no longer doing the redirect thing…….much thanx for your help, now are you any good on transmissions on a chevy…jim
-
Hi Jim – Wonderful, I’m glad you’re set! I would be entirely useless with the Chevy, I’m afraid. ;)
