Hi there,
Judging by the site connected to your WordPress.com account it looks like you’re using the open-source WordPress software and therefore you need to seek help at these forums:

Hello, my website https:indianaddivas.com, is built on WordPress.com. Recently, I changed the permalink settings and removed date from the URL. Earlier, as I understand, WordPress would automatically detect the post and redirect audience to the right page, but now it is throwing 404 Page Not Found error.
Through research I found that we have to edit the .htaccess code to enable the redirection. But am unable to find it.
Please help me fix it as a lot of my popular posts are losing traffic.
Thank you.

HI @indianaddivas, it is actually expected that the old links will throw an error if the permalink was changed.
You may want to look for a redirection plugin to fix that:https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/redirect/
Also, remember that with your plan you can access Live Chat directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way you can get help faster.
