404 Error
-
I just finished the set up for my blog about 30 minutes ago. I’m extremely new to this whole process (this is my first blog!) and I was taking some time to navigate the admin tools and trying to figure out how everything works. Somewhere in the process, I suddenly seemed to lose access to everything! I can’t make changes in the settings, I can’t open my blog, or really utilize any navigational tools whatsoever. I’m really lost and confused. The message that keeps coming up is ‘Not Found’ and then, ‘The requested URL was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.’
I’m entirely unsure of what happened or what to do next. I just set up all my payment for this process and I was really looking forward to learning some of the ropes of my new blog, but now I’m afraid I’ve messed this up.
Any insight and assistance would be much appreciated!

Hi there! The site address you’ve shared is
http://box5380.temp.domains/– what that tells us is that it’s a site which is hosted with Bluehost (so your content should be on your Bluehost account), but it seems like Bluehost may have installed the Jetpack plugin on your site, and automatically created an account for you here on WordPress.com (to use with the Jetpack plugin), during the setup process. If you’re wanting to access your site management, I think you’ll need to head back here:
http://box5380.temp.domains/wp-adminEssentially, there are two ways to use WordPress, you can either use the WordPress software downloaded from WordPress.org onto a web host like Bluehost (also known as self-hosted), or you may host your site with us here at WordPress.com. You can learn more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
