404 Error For New Pages

    I’m one of the few twenty soemthings who doesnt know php fro html and “root” directorys from cabage patch dolls.

    I never installed wordpress, I just signed up for an account and created UpFrontAgent.WordPress.Com

    I created a new page called “New Page 404 Test” and it shows the 404 error (Copied and pasted below)

    Everything has been going fine and dandy until today. Today I was trying to add a new page and when I clicked save and then clicked on publish I went to “view” site and I saw that my new page was up but when I clicked on it, it said –

    “Error 404 – File not Found

    Sorry, but the page you were looking for could not be found.”

    I can modify my other pages but I can’t add new ones anymore without getting a 404 error.

    Any suggestions?

    Greets:

    There’s a couple of threads on the issue within the last 24-48 hours. It appears to be a caching issue. Best bet would be to send in a feedback from your dashboard giving specific examples of what’s wrong and make staff aware that you’re having the issue as well.
