404 Error from Hosting with WordPress
-
I am disappointed with WordPress.
I have an account with cPanel hosting my website on WordPress and about a month ago my client noticed our website is not live. Because of the fact we cant log into Cpanel or WordPress Admin, we are unable to fix any of whatever problems exist. It has taken me about 3 weeks and countless hours to only arrive at the problem being with my hosting space ( WordPress )
Please advise on what the best next step would be! I am getting impatient.
Thank you for all you do.

Hi there,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble, but we’re not the WordPress you’re using so I’m afraid we’re not able to help in this case.
The forum you’re posting to now is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We don’t offer the cPanel interface here, and you don’t have any sites hosted with us.
The WordPress you’re using is the free, open source software, made by the community on WordPress.org. You have that software installed on a server at a hosting provider you’re paying to host the site, and cPanel is the admin interface that hosting provider uses for sites hosted on their servers.
If you’re having problems accessing cPanel, you need to contact your hosting provider directly for help, as only they have control over that.
If you’re having trouble logging into your admin user account on the site itself, you can see the documentation for the WordPress software you’re using at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/, though your hosting provider should also be able to help with that.
