404 error from outside links

Hi, not sure if there will be a way to do this or not…

    I have a site hosted on wordpress.com, with a domain redirection to existing domain – http://www.hobarttennis.com.au .

This was an existing website with old pages that used asp.

I’ve found that there are a LOT of links from other websites that attempt to direct visitors to the old website (which is still the correct address ) – but with one glaring exception: the links are all of the form hobarttennis.com.au/home.aspx

    Obviously this won’t work.

What I am wondering, I guess, is there a way to redirect from this bad link and get people straight to the website? (other than hoping that they continue on from the ‘404 error’ and click on the “home” link at the top of the page…)

for instance, under Settings – Domains – could I simply add this most common, ‘home.aspx’ link, and redirect people back to the homepage that way ?

    thanks in advance !
