404 error on front page

  I can’t get rid of the 404 error on my front page all the others are working fine !
  Any help gratefully accepted , I am not very tech savvy!!

  Hi there,

  Make sure your customiser and homepage are set to public by going to My Site > Site > Pages, finding your homepage and clicking ‘publish’. Also go to My Site > Design > Customise and make sure you’ve selected ‘save changes’.
  If this isn’t working, please share the URL of your site.

  Hi there, so looking at your website I can see it is not hosted here on the WPcom platform. WPcom (where we are ) and WP are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  It appears that you have an issue with your site because Spanglewoodgundogs.co.uk redirects to spanglewoodgundogs.co.uk/uncategorized/hello-world__trashed/ which is why you are getting a 404 error.

  Have you tried contacting your web hosting provider for assistance? If they say this is a WordPress problem, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
