404 error on home page, despite having posts

    I’m getting a 404 error, but I have plenty of posts. When someone clicks on the “home” category, I would like them to see all of my posts, from most recent to oldest. Could you please explain how to do this? I have added the category “home” and added it to all of my posts, but I’m still getting the 404 error.

    a) You didn’t add a “Home” category to the menu, you added a (nonexistent) static page titled “Home”.
    b) Categories are groups of posts: there’s no point adding any category to all your posts. And that’s not the way to create a Home link anyway: home is just your blog front, and such a link is already available.

    First go to Posts > Categories and delete the Home category.
    Then go to Appearance > Menus, click to open the Home item you’ve added, click Remove, click View All in the Pages module, select Home, click Add to Menu, drag to reposition, click Save Menu.
