404 ERROR PAGE NOT FOUND

    Hi, i uploaded my site from a local server to a live server(qserver) and since then i’ve been getting this ‘404 error page not found’ error message, i’ve updated permalinks, i’ve tried using htaccess. i’m just stuck and its really annoying. I even used broken link and redirection plugin but they tell me i don’t have a broken link. i really need help please

    Hi Shekinahcommunications1,

    I am sorry you are running into a 404 issue on your site.
    As you said, the host is qsever. My guess is that it may be an issue with the httpd.conf itself ( possibly missing AllowOverride All ). This is unlikely if it is a shared hosting server, but is possible if it is a VPS or something that had to be configured manually. Excluding that, I would check plugins and the theme but all this would be off topic and the wrong forum to further investigate.
