404 Error When I use the Previous Entries Button From a Category

I’ve been trying to figure this out all day. If I’m looking in a Category, for instance “Real Estate”, and then I use the Previous Entries page to go to page 2 I get a 404 error. Does anyone know why? I can’t find out what the URL is to fix the problem with a 301 redirect. Any help would be appreciated – here’s a link

I think your issue is in the permalink structure.
I had a similar problem. For me, I had to change my permalink structure from /news/%postname%/ to /%postname%/ (drop the /news/).I hope that helps.
