404 message on home page – tried everything but it's still there.

  Hi,
  My home page is set to display my latest post, but a 404 message keeps appearing. I have changed the setting to reflect “latest post” and there don’t seem to be issues with date inconsistencies. I also posted a new post this morning (suggested in help) but that didn’t fix the problem either.

  Thanks so much! I think it was just a problem with Firefox. I tried again in Safari and it worked great – maybe have to enable something cookie-or-otherwise.

  Great to hear!

  Firefox may be looking at a cached version of the page. You can try either clearing your cache, using a different browser, or loading the page and then holding the shift key while you click reload/refresh.
