404 on my site – can't even access WP login

My site and domain koreanunlocked.com was hosted on Siteground, and I installed WordPress for it.

Months later I changed the domain to seoulunlocked.com. After doing that and waiting 72 hours, koreanunlocked.com gets a “This site can’t be reached” error which I expected, but seoulunlocked.com gets “403 – Forbidden
Access to this page is forbidden.” on the home page. It also gets “404 – Not found. We searched the space, but we couldn’t find the page you’re looking for.” when I visit https://seoulexplorer.com/wp-login or https://seoulexplorer.com/wp-admin.

It does appear in my list of sites, for example I can visit https://wordpress.com/settings/general/seoulexplorer.com. But the only settings there are Site Profile, Privacy and Site Tools. There’s no drop-down options under Settings. And when I visit Users it says “There was an error retrieving users”.

I don’t know what I’ve done wrong, if anyone has any insights I’d be grateful.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I meant seoulexplorer.com not seoulunlocked.com

  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you have trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Siteground.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

https://wordpress.org/support/ is an excellent resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Your hosting provider’s support team may also be able to assist.
