404 on new website

  As I start a new website, creating new pages, I can not view the site as I get 404 response each time.
  All looks well in the dashboard … I can create new pages or topics but these are not found by WP application for some reason.

  Do you know why?

  Do you refer to a WordPress.com website? WordPress.org?
  What is the website URL? And, if it is a WordPress.com website, then please provide an example of a page where you get a 404 error.

  Thanks for your reply.
  I did search for such information, on why I keep having this problem, when I am using my webspace at my service provider, where I keep few websites of mine, in folders inside my www folder.

  The new website I am trying to create, is @ http://surfins.islandnet.com/surfins/
  For example, I get 404 on my forum and membership as well as my about/welcome= hellow page included in every new WP4.1
  http://surfins.islandnet.com/surfins/hello/
  http://surfins.islandnet.com/surfins/members/surffins/groups/

  It replaces my older one which was damaged when I had added WPfastcache plugin
  The automatic installation by my service provider, always put the new website inside a www or if I designate one in my web-setting = which is not like my other sites, not nested deeper in an additional folder in my www folder for all my websites.
  I also removed older databases created each time by WP when I try to recreate the new site, so there is no chance for mistakes by the software or me…
