404 Page Error – Page Not Found
-
When I navigate to kinv090.wordpress.com, it only loads my blog when I’m logged into my wordpress account on that computer. As soon as I logout and try to access my site I get a ‘404 Page Error – Page Not Found’ page. How can I correct this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey Vincent,
I was able to access your site from where I am. So, did you try a different browser while logged out? Or a different computer? Let me know if you are still getting that error, and I’ll be glad to look further into what’s causing it.
Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to look into this! I tried to access it from my Android today and it was down again. Now that I logged in, I can access it again. This is very unfortunate because I forward potential employers to this site.

Gaining access has been problematic on my mobile device, on Mac, and PC. I did some research on wp forums, and a common suggestion was to save changes on “permalinks” in settings. I don’t know how this works, if it will work, or how to access the permalinks settings. Do you have any advice? My site’s down again now btw.

Gotcha.
Permalinks may be the issue. Have you changed the post dates on any of your posts?

Thank you for that link. I haven’t changed any post dates. If permalinks were the issue however, “permalinks” is no longer an option in the settings. I already have a static homepage set. My site is still going up and down. This is very problematic because this is the site that I refer potential employers to.

Ahhh…found the issue. There is a glitch that somehow allowed you to have duplicate blogs. So, whenever you visit the URL, it must be switching which of the duplicate blogs that you are going to.
Let me see if I can get this sorted on our end. Just to verify, the blog you’ve been working on has about 6 pages or so? The duplicate blog has no content, so I want to make sure that I remove the correct one from under your account.
Thanks!

You are THE MAN!! Thank you for looking into that for me! Yes I want to keep the site with the page content.

Done! You should be good to go, for I deactivated the duplicate site.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!
