404 Pages

    When I Choose a new theme for my website i accidentally deleted al content from my website. Links to this content still comes forward at search results but when someone clicks on the link they get on a 404 page. Which is just bad for my website.

    I’m sorry to hear that you accidentally deleted content on your site.

    In cases when the site is on an Explorer plan, options for creating a redirect are unavailable, and so to access additional SEO tools, or to use a plugin, like Yoast SEO Premium to handle redirects on your site, you’ll want to upgrade to the Creator plan.

    The Yoast SEO Premium plugin has great documentation and tutorials to guide you, should you use this method.

    When you make changes to your site, it can take anywhere between a few days to a few weeks for Google or other search engines to update with this, however, you can submit a new sitemap to search engines by following our guidance linked below.
