404 still appears after correcting link

  Hi, I recently changed some of the permalinks on my website. On the homepage, the links for banners labeled “Motel,” “Custom Surfboards,” and “Surf Shop” were changed and then updated. “Motel” and “Custom Surfboards” works, but “Surf Shop” leads to a 404 about 90% of the time. Somehow, the page does manage to pop up. Why is this?
