  Why am I getting a 406 Error when I try to save as draft, preview or post a new page or post

  Where is your URL starting with http:// please?
  Why is your username not linked to a blog?

  Keep getting this response. Site in maint. mode.
  Not Acceptable

  An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp-admin/post.php could not be found on this server.

  Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

  I am also getting Error 404 when I try to “preview post.” It’s pretty frustrating.

  I did a little digging (googling) and it appears to be some security setting in the hosting server. If you contact your site web host they can fix it. Said it was an .htaccess problem. once they whitelisted a few things everything went back to normal.
