4.5.1 Upgrade
-
Immediately after upgrading to 4.5.1 on both my sites, I am unable to navigate the Dashboard. Select ALL POSTS and taken to Homepage instead of list of posts to edit. I am unable to edit a post on website that has been live since 1/16. Same problem on my second site I was building (not yet live) updated automatically by WordPress. Cannot edit any of the pages I have created. When you select ALL PAGES, you are taken to the Homepage which is currently the ‘Coming Soon’ page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Those sites are not hosted here and we cannot help you. Unfortunately, you are posting to the wrong support forum. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Hi there, just before I upgraded to 4.5.1 (gridlocked 2 theme), my site stopped letting me edit a page, with word count 0 and no images showing up, even though the live site is working as last edited.
I am running off an older mac OS X 10.8.5 but there have been no issues until now. Can you please help?
Many thanks
Danielle

I found a post in another part of the forum that talked about deleting cache and cookies after installing an upgrade. I did this and my problem, which sounds the same as yours, went away. All is well now.
-
Thanks, I did that too but the problem didn’t go away until after I’d de-activated the particular plugin.

Hi there.
You (daniellezorbas & rvpicklers) are n the wrong place. These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.comWordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
And you should ask in the WordPress.org forums.
Please do not continue with the off topic.

That site is not hosted by WordPress.com
