48 views by one visitor throwing off stats

How do I eliminate false views? I average around 10 views a day from 5 visitors. The one day that shows 48 views from one visitor is throwing off my stats. I do not even have 48 posts yet so I would say that this data is false or there was a glitch. How do I eliminate that false statistic?

Stats happen – some people will get a bit lost on a site or click back to a base Post then click off that Post to other Posts – it happens – I have one person per day on average that is new to my site and maybe does 15 to 45 page views –
Welcome to the internet – maybe they liked your site and will send their friends
-
PS – the record of sorts for my site is around 75++ page views over several hours – read every post on my site that had to do with boating safety – all they missed was the legacy pictures I have moved off the site to another site

Thanks auxclass. I understand, but it seems like an outlier. I will just be happy that one person visited many of my posts. Thanks again.

You be welcome
It is an outlier – but even outliers are genuine – just like when you go to the grocery or another store some days there is one person ahead of you other times nobody and once in a while – four people ahead of you in line – that is the nature of stats –
