4×4 in page source

  Hi there,
  I’ve just set up a WordPress blog about four wheel driving. One of the most used terms to describe this topic is ‘4×4’ I’ve used 4×4 in my post titles and they display as “4×4” in the page source.

  I’m using v2.2.1 of WordPress. I’ve heard of this problem before with a friend but can’t find the solution.
