  • Hi there – I was able to get your site to load, but it does seem a bit slow. One of the issues I see straight away is your site does not have a valid SSL certificate. This is essential for most sites on the web today, especially for sites using eCommerce to allow visitors to create an account, login, and make purchases.

We recommend a couple of things:

    1. Contact your website host (HostGator). Let them know of your issue with site performance and also talk with them about adding a SSL certificate to your site.

    2. Inquire for help within the community-run WordPress support forums (at WordPress.org): https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

We recommend #2 is because we (at WordPress.com) are not your actual website host. There are many WordPress hosting options; we are one option, HostGator (who you have chosen as your host) is another. Since we aren’t your host, our support tools don’t allow us to provide you with direct support, but we can still guide you on what to do next based on our extensive experience. :)

Moving forward, unless you decide to move your site to our hosting, your primary support resource will be your website host and the WordPress.org forums I linked to above. Good luck!
