500 Internal Server Error

I’m getting Internal Server Error when I attempt to login from my MacBook Pro (recently “upgraded” to the latest OS X Yosemite); but not when I login from my iPhone 6+, which I CAN do.
The help sections have technical solutions, but as I am not a programmer at all, I can’t understand it.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

OK, I think I understand that. Can you tell me how I find out who is hosting my page? If it isn’t WordPress, I can’t remember who it is.
