500 Internal Server Error Report

  I just updated my WordPress dashboard to the most recent version, and now I can’t access my dashboard to make any changes. I get an error message saying,
  ‘Internal Server Error
  The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log.’

  Did updating cause this? Is this normal? I’m so anxious!

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.
