500 server error when accessing website, and current site is gone from dashboard

  Hi There WP Forum! I’m spinning my wheels over an issue that I can’t seem to make sense of. A couple of things at play here

  1. when trying to access my site at https://malibucoastaladventures.com/, I experience a 500 server error – I have no reason to believe the issue is server related, as you likely know, this is just a generic message
  2. I was made aware of my site outage via an email from WP stating “security warning…site error detected.. memory overload”
  3. this website is very old and I’m thinking a file is corrupt or some plugin is causing an issue
  4. most noteworthy though, when I login into my wordpress admin/dashboard.. my old site from 2012 is showing and my current site is nowhere to be found. This is absolutely bizarre

  Can you advise if you’ve run into this error? I really appreciate any and all insight here so i can work towards getting the site live again.
