503 Error Service Unavailable
-
Hi, my website is http://www.herbalsociety.shop
Since early this morning (7am) I have been receiving the above error. What is it and how can I fix it? I use wordpress to Host but I use Cloudflare servers too.
I’m not too good at computer knowledge, as we’re a small business and I have to figure this out by myself.
How to fix this? I already contacted CloudFlare but they said to contact wordpress since the problem seems to be on your end, and not cloudflare? I’m very confused.
Also, I cannot log in to my wordpress admin because it gives me the same 503 error.
We have lost several sales already and wish to bring our site back online.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello? Is there a faster way to receive help? Like an email? I see new posts being answered and mine being pushed down.
I don’t meant to be annoying, I just wanna know where I can go for help

Hello,
The issue seems to be with the www version of your website. I am able to access it just fine if I visit https://herbalsociety.shop with no www. You will need to make sure your dns is configured to work with www. typically this is accomplished with a CNAME record in your DNS zone
this article explains a bit more about that

Hello, thank you for your response.
I tried https://herbalsociety.shop and i still get the 503 error in my browser and still cant log into admin.
If I added a CNAME in my DNS zone would this get resolved even though it’s working on your end?
Also, when addming the CNAME – I do that through my cloudflare dashboard right?
Thank you.

Hello,
both versions, with and without www are working for me now. Yes, the DNS record would be added at cloudflare along with all of the other DNS records Hopefully this is resolved for you and your business may continue uninterrupted!

Hi Eddie,
You are posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, but your site is not hosted on our servers, so we cannot help you here.
Please contact support at CloudFlare directly for help with what’s causing the 503 error for you, or else your hosting provider. A 500-error points to a problem in the connection between your computer and your website’s server, and only your hosting provider can help with that.
WordPress is just the software you’re using to build your site, and has nothing to do with your domain’s connection to your server.
For questions regarding the WordPress software you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, but they will not be able to help in this case, as this isn’t a software issue.
