503 Service Unavailable error when trying to log into my wordpress backend

So everytime i try to log onto my backend to continue editing my website, I get the following error: 503 Service Unavailable error
Troublkeshooting I have done so far:
removed all plugins
removed/deactivated the theme i was using
i have backed up my theme and my sql databases and saved to a secure folder.I dop not know what else i can do besides uninstalling and reinstalling, but I only want to resort to this option as a last resort.
Any help please?

From your above query,
We can make out that your Website is not hosted with WordPress.com .Seems like its is hosted with WordPress.org with different hosting provider.
Note the difference here : https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If it is hosted with WordPress.org, Then its better to contact the hosting provider so that they can walk you in correct direction.

And my hosting company: Afrihost only offers support durting week days how messed up is this?!?!?
I need to complete my website this weekend so im a little stressed.
Any kind of help or suggestions would be immensely appreciated.

Unfortunately, this really isn’t something we can help with in the WordPress.com forums since your site isn’t with WordPress.com. Although your hosting provider doesn’t offer support on weekends, in the meantime, you’re welcome to request help at the self-hosted forums: https://wordpress.org/support
I understand this is frustrating, but you’re more likely to receive help there or by contacting your hosting provider when they’re available.
