504 Error when updating posts – ‘openresty/1.11.2.2’

For the past week or so, I’ve been getting 504 errors when publishing updates to a post or page. The updates do go through, but it acts as though it’s loading for a long time first and then ends on the 504 error page with a ‘openresty/1.11.2.2’ message only.
Possible related causes: All files and the database were transferred to a new hosting server and then back before this started happening.
Any ideas?
