    Hi,

    my blog is not working properly. my visitors are getting a 522 error message saying:

    Error 522 Ray ID: e695622ae1201af Connection timed out

    Browser: working Cloudfare: working Host: error

    I own the domain recetasdukanmariamartinez.com wich I get 15 months ago when I purchase a Premium acount on WordPress.com I need to have my blog conected to Google Analytics, and to do so I edited the Domain DNS four months ago, changing the default Wordrpress.com DNS for the one provided by Cloudflare (because they can connect my blog to Google Analytics)

    I contacted Cloudflare about this problem and here is their answer:

    “Make sure your hosting provider isn’t rate limiting or blocking IP requests from the CloudFlare IPs and ask them to whitelist the IP addresses below “

    IPv4
    204.93.240.0/24
    204.93.177.0/24
    199.27.128.0/21
    173.245.48.0/20
    103.21.244.0/22
    103.22.200.0/22
    103.31.4.0/22
    141.101.64.0/18
    108.162.192.0/18
    190.93.240.0/20
    188.114.96.0/20
    197.234.240.0/22
    198.41.128.0/17
    162.158.0.0/15

    IPv6

    2400:cb00::/32
    2606:4700::/32
    2803:f800::/32
    2405:b500::/32
    2405:8100::/32

    The thing is, as I got the domain and the hosting as part of the Premium acount on WordPress.com I don’t know who is my hosting provider or who do I have to contact with

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Howdy,

    We’re your hosting provider, if you’re using WordPress.com for your blog.

    I’ve passed the CloudFlare note to our systems team for them to review. Cheers!

    Thanks, kraftbj

    The problem is getting worse by the minute: several followers are telling me they cannot access the blog at all, even if they keep trying and trying.

    It is really annoying :(

  • Howdy,

    Your site should load fine now as far as our end is concerned and it is loading again for me. We were blocking one of those IP addresses from some time ago after seeing a surge of requests from it that were, at the time, unexplained. We do things like that to block attacks on websites hosted on WordPress.com, since a large number of requests from a single IP isn’t common.

    Unfortunately, that can be a downside of using a service like Cloudflare. If you need anything else, please let me know.

    Cheers!

    :(

    I am getting the 522 error again. I just reset the DNS back to the default ones ( ns1.wordpress.com, etc) because I don´t want to keep missing traffic on my blog.

    But, as I told you before, I need to have Google Analytics conected to my blog, because I am partner of a network and they need my G. Analytics statistics.

    Is there any way I can have the blog conected to G. An. other than via Cloudflare?

  • Hi,

    Did CloudFlare have any additional information regarding the new instance of the error message? I’m checking with our systems folks if anything changed on our end.

    Officially, we don’t support using Google Analytics on WordPress.com (or using CloudFlare, as far as that goes, though we’ll do our best to keep CloudFlare working with WordPress.com).

    To add to our data team’s list, what particular aspects of Google Analytics are must-haves for you?

  • Howdy again,

    Just a quick follow-up from our systems folks. None of the CloudFlare IP addresses from when we originally had issues are blocked or throttled, so whatever the cause is something new.

    Thanks again.
