522 Host Error on my WordPress.com site

  Hello WordPress.com Support Team,

  My website (https://goldenriverled.com) has been experiencing a 522 Host Error when accessed. The error indicates that Cloudflare could connect to the origin server but did not receive a timely response.

  Details:

  Website: https://goldenriverled.com

  Issue started: 2025-10-01 23:10:33 UTC

  Error type: 522 Host Error

  Behavior: The site sometimes loads slowly or fails to load, showing a Cloudflare 522 error page.

  I have confirmed that my DNS records are correctly pointing to WordPress.com, Could you please check if there are any issues with the WordPress.com servers or the connection with Cloudflare?

  However, you can try any of these steps:

  • Check if your hosting server is online and not overloaded.
  • Make sure Cloudflare (or any CDN/firewall) can reach your origin server → Cloudflare docs: Error 522
  • Restart your hosting services (web server, database) if you have access.
  • Temporarily disable plugins that may be causing heavy requests (example: W3 Total Cache case – WordPress.org forum).
  • Check similar reports in the WordPress.org forums (example: another 522 case).
  • Contact your hosting provider if the problem persists.
