60-Second Blog Stats shows two different numbers

That little 60-Second Blog Stats widget shows that I have 714 hits when I look at my Home Page, but when I go to the Widgets page and click open the 60-second Blog Stats WIDGET, it says that my blog has 123,45 hits.

Why the disparity between what the Home Page 60-Second Blog Stats (714) says and what the inside of the Widget says (124,45)?

I did the usual: Logged out of Firefox, cleared the cache, clicked off the site and then back on again, but the large disparity persists.

Volunteers answering support questions do not have backend access to blogs and cannot apply technical fixes of any kind. Only Staff can do that. So if you have concerns about your stats that are not answered in support documentation, here’s the link for contacting Staff http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Thanks…… I just now left my question at that first link you supplied above. It seems to me like 123,45 is a computer’s way of saying “any number,” and it seems that the number should match what shows on the Home Page. At any rate, the Support Staff has my question now.

You need to talk to 60-second blog stats for that; it’s not a wordpress problem. Also, we’ve previously discussed with you why different stats meters have different numbers. If an external add-on isn’t working, take it up with them.

I didn’t realize that 60-Second Blog Stats is not a WordPress widget. It was there so I put it in my sidebar.

I don’t recall any discussion about why different stats meters have different numbers. I was not asking why the Site Meter and the 60-Second Blog Stats have different numbers. (I know that a Hit is not the same as a Visit and that 60-second counts hits while Site Meter counts Visits.)

My question was only about why 60-Second Blog Stats didn’t give the number of hits in the Widget — why they have only the 123,45 number (standing for “any number.”_

At any rate, I submitted the question to the Support Team. It’s not a huge problem, just an observation.
