$8.00 charge

  I began setting up my blog and did not get to finish it and had to come back to it. When I came back I was not able to add the $8.00 charge to make sure my require personal inforamtion was not shared. How can I do that now?

  That particular upgrade is actually part of domain registration, but I don’t see any registered domains on your account. If you do register a domain, you’ll have the option to add this during purchase.

  We always protect your private information at WordPress.com, but the mailing address, phone number, and email address of a domain registrant must always be made public by law.

  So, as long as you don’t register a domain name, you have nothing to worry about. If you do register a domain, adding private registration elects a third-party to hold your domain, thus displaying their info rather than yours.
