830,000 missing page views

The Blog Stats counter widget has somehow dropped 830,000 missing page views from on my blog. Does anyone know why this is? I posted a question about this earlier and have since removed that Widget… but it is still the same. As if someone just subtracted 830k views from the counter.

According to the blog stats widget and the blog stats line in the dashboard, I have had 7,184 total page views over the past 3 years… but that doesn’t even add up on its own right because it lists the busiest day ever at 29,529…
but if you look at my stats chart yearly… its a different story… 837,201 total views, with over 400,000 this year alone.
That’s a difference of minus 830,000 page views. What does this mean?

It means something’s goofy with the counter and we’re looking into it.
