90% of the advertised features for WordPress Frisco seem to work. Why?

    Dear Sir:

I want to send an email to a WordPress representative, not to a ‘Community’. How can I contact WordPress so they can stand behind the product they sold me?

I bought WordPress Frisco about 2 weeks ago, via Mojo Marketplace. I bought it on the basis of the features shown in the demo. I spent 6 hours today trying to get ANY of the features to work. Almost none of them did. I read and read through extensive instructions, but it didn’t help. This software does not do any of the things promised in the demo.

    My questions are as follows:

    1) People buy Frisco for the text slider feature. I tried repeatedly to get ANY text to slide at all, and it seemed to require additional plugins or special sliding tech of some sort. Is there some clear, direct, simple, transparent, rational way of installing a 7 word line of text so it slides into place, without entering pages of code?

    2) How do I put in place a header and background image so it sits cleanly and is centered? I managed this once, but it was off to the side and I couldn’t find a clear explanation why.

    3) I have many photos I want to install in viewing packets, as shown in the demo, each packet covering a certain topic. How do I do this? I saw no clear explanation for this simple task.

    4) How do I post a youtube video to a blog post? I saw where I’m supposed to enter the URL for it, and I tried, but it failed. How do I do this?

    5) About the only thing I was able to do was put in place the menu of pages. But then I did something that scrambled them and pushed them lower and in a bigger ugly font. I had them looking OK, after two hours spent on that alone, but then I did something that disrupted it, and couldn’t find a clear, non-contradictory explanation of what to do.

    6) I clicked to set aside the One Click Install panel in the Dashboard, and now I can’t get it back. Is there a way to have that restored?

    7) I really want to ensure I’m not charged for any more plugins or widgets or other themes or other tech to make this existing Frisco software work. Basically I don’t want to throw any more money after this b/c so far it’s been a disaster.

    8) FYI the hosting service has been even worse. I wasted $180 on that to have a simple domain with some security. I feel like I’ve utterly wasted money on something that will never be even 10% what was promised.

    Cordially,
    Stephen Carter

You are confusing WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG and posting to the wrong support forum. read this first please http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

We provide support only for blogs being hosted WordPress.COM and not for WordPress.ORG software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of some themes with same names. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

What is the URL of your blog? We need that to determine if you are in the correct forum. You are probably in the wrong forum. And to refer you to getting the proper help.

I know – there are several other tells in the Post that indicate they are way in the wrong forum. I saw them, but much experience here tells me until they post the URL or one of us goes through and highlights all the tells they will be upset.

And some of their problem will not be solved at WordPress.ORG but is probably an issue with the shop that sold them the Theme, the shop should have some sort of help on their web site.

    Above we see this:

I bought WordPress Frisco about 2 weeks ago, via Mojo Marketplace.

Go to goggle and type in the same string and you get http://www.mojo-themes.com/item/frisco-responsive-multi-purpose-wordpress-theme/demo/
On that page I see this link Free Lifetime Support http://www.mojo-themes.com/item/frisco-responsive-multi-purpose-wordpress-theme/demo/
