$99 bundle mapping an existing domain.
-
We purchased a $99 bundle so that we could map an existing domain to our wordpress site. But the program won’t let me map the existing domain name without registering a new name. How can I skip the registering and get straight to the domain mapping?
“Save up to 40% on our most popular upgrades with this great new bundle. Get all of these great features to super-charge your blog in one simple purchase. Includes a domain name of your choice OR domain mapping for an existing domain, VideoPress, Custom Design, 10GB Space Upgrade, and No Ads.”

You only need the $13 mapping upgrade to map an existing domain. If that is literally all you want, then the $99 upgrade is a waste.
If you do want the bundle, then wait for a staff response to this thread. They can work something out.

We actually want/need all the other bits in this bundle. And actually purchased another mapping upgrade so that we could map two domains overall. It was easy to map that domain. But the system won’t let me map the second without registering a whole new domain.
I would really like to resolve this as all our printed promo materials have both urls on them.
Thanks.

This has been flagged, so just wait. It’s a long weekend, so you might not hear back before Tuesday.

@kelstress: I see that you have purchased the Pro Bundle for calgarygayhistory.wordpress.com and used the domain credit to map the domain calgaryqueerhistory.ca. If you’d like to map further domain names, you’ll need to purchase additional upgrades for those (you can do it under Store > Domains). It looks like you might be all set, but let me know if you have further questions about this or need assistance!

Thanks Jenia,
The way the dashboard looked, I had thought that we had already purchased our second domain map. We have rectified that and tt’s all working now.
Thanks again for your assistance!
