$99 for a domain I already paid for with another registrar?

  I own http://www.thereisagodforlesserclimbers.com. I want my blogs to be available to that website. When I click on ‘already have a domain’, the page I am forwarded to asks for $99. Excuse me? Then right above that is $13/year. What gives????? how do I simply use my existing domain, instead of being limited to http://www.thereislessergodforclimbers.wordpress.com?

  You must upgrade to a paid WordPress.COM plan to be able to point your externally registered domain to your WordPress.COM blog.

  You can also upgrade and map your custom domain with the Personal plan by purchasing the upgrade plan first before adding the domain mapping (it’s included in the price of the upgrade).
