$99.00 to forward my domain?

  Why do I have to upgrade to the $99 plan just to forward my Google domain to my word press blog? I am sure I have done it in the past only paying the $13 for domain mapping, but now domain mapping seems to not be available without the upgrade. Really?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Individual upgrades were discontinued some time ago in favor of upgrade bundles/plans.

  You can map a domain (not forward) also with the Personal plan. Here’s more on pricing https://wordpress.com/pricing/
