A blog made up of reblogging
-
Does WordPress have any kind of policy about blogs in which all the posts seem to be copied from other blogs? I got a pingback this morning that one of my posts, http://barbarah.wordpress.com/2011/03/30/coping-when-husband-is-away/#comments, was linked to at http://coolpenny.wordpress.com/2013/11/04/coping-when-husband-is-away/. But the whole post had been copied. This is one of my most viewed and commented-on posts, and I really don’t like someone else using the material. I am not fond of the Reblogging feature for this reason, though at least it helps me know when this happens.
But as I searched around this blog for a little bit, it looks like all its posts are copied or reblogged from other sites – at least the several that I perused were from other sources. Since there are ads inbetween posts and on the sidebar, it looks like they are just using other people’s material to try to make money. Can anything be done about this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That stinks! You could try to email the person who owns the site and ask for attribution for the article or ask them to remove your content as you did not authorize them to use it as their own content.
-
But the whole post had been copied.
Is not a Reblog – that is theft – report the blog – when logged in mouse over the name on the left side of the top bar – click on “Report Content” and follow the instructions – the link at the spam blog – link to your Post – add a bit about the other Posts all being copied from other places will also help to get the blog killed for Terms of Service violation
You can also file a DMCA complaint

WordPress.COM likes the Reblog feature – however they hate blogs that take the entire Post with a copy and past thing –

But the whole post had been copied.
These matters are not dealt with on public forums but we Volunteers can point you to what you need to do to take the required action. See here:

Thanks, all. I’ve taken the first step by leaving a comment asking them to take down the post and letting them know I will take further action if they don’t.
