A Bug of some kind with the editing screen

My site is http://politicalbooks.us (though it is hosted with wordpress.com)

I mostly use the HTML option when writing posts. I find the Visual option to be hokey sometimes. But the HTML option sometimes does wierd stuff too. Two wierd things to be specific.

    1. While editing, the text box jumps to the top. Suppose the text entry box (not sure it’s technical term) has enough room for 3 paragraphs, but I’ve written 10. I scroll down to the bottom paragraph, cut a sentence that doesn’t fit right, and the box jumps up and shows me the first three paragraphs, and everytime I scroll down, it jumps back up again. Why is that?

    2. When going between HTML and Visual, the Visual often gets rid of my Paragraph HTML codes and pushes paragraph text together. Why is that?

I use Microsoft Explorer. Should I consider using a different browser? Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds as if you are using Internet Explorer 8. If you are, this is a known issue and it can be remedied by setting the IE8 browser to “compatibility view” while on the editor page. If you are not familiar with this function in IE8, see the following link and click on the “compatibility view” link in the left hand navigation section on that page.
