A bug or misunderstanding ?

  Hi ,

  I published a post yesterday and shared it on the social media. Later, when I realized that the date needs to be changed, I did so using the WPAdmin menu. Soon, I started to get the messages that the post in inaccessible. I realized that the URL has the date as the path, I reverted to the original date and the post was accessible again.

  In my humble opinion, the user should have the freedom to change the date of the post(as his travel may be in the past) and this should not affect the access to the post(the URL, I mean).

  Please let me know if this is a bug or my understanding is misplaced :)
