a business web site that i can transfer my existing one to that gives me a shopp

    I would like to move my web site which isn’t getting much response, to either a new or my existing wordpress blog and have it as a business one, with a shopping trolley connected to Paypal, enough space for my paintings to be displayed, and also for my writings. I am an ecological artist and have art work to sell that is a by product of work i do for conservation groups. My IT skills are basic to medium. I have been told that the search engines wouldn’t pick up a wordpress one as even though a business site doesn’t have wordpress on it, the search engines still pick it up as such?

    Whoever told you that about WordPress was either clueless or lying. WordPress is VERY attractive to search engines.

    Start here: http://learn.wordpress.com and you’ll see it’s quite easy. Instructions for importing content are in the Support documents in teh blue bar at the top of the page.
