A code may have ruined my widget
-
I am a NOVICE. I don’t know what I am doing but I am trying to customize my layout. I put an html in a widget box for “follow me via email.” The box had been perfectly normal before. Now, the code didn’t do what I wanted (which was to add a decorative button that said, “sometimes it’s good to be a follower” (or something to that effect) and I can’t get the follow button to return to normal. I have cleared my cache and erased the info in the button multiple times. I have dragged the button to different boxes to try and reset it. I have even changed my entire theme hoping that would reset it. No dice. Nothing is working but the html code I pasted in is nowhere to be seen. Instead of a “follow” button…it now shows what I follow on my home page and I don’t want that at all. Did I bug myself? Please help! Thank you.

What is the exact code? Paste it here between CODE Tags.
For that anyway, just use the Subscription widget. It works fine and you don’t have to configure it.
