A commentators request to delete comment

Hi, There
I have a request by a commentator on our blog, that wants his comment deleted.After he placed the comment and we spent a few hours answering him. He subsequently emailed us to change his name as he commented using his Facebook account. We did remove his surname and the link to his Face Book account. His comment was somewhat offensive but never the less we approved it and answered him, now he is no longer satisfied with the comment he made and demand we remove it. What are the rules concerning this please. He is threatening to report us for not adhering to his request. Please advise as i cannot find help in the general help section of wordpress.

Once a comment is left on your blog, it’s entirely under your control and considered part of your blog. You’re more than welcome to keep, edit, or delete the comment.
