a comments attribution problem
-
As a heads-up, several people try sharing comments to my postings, but they all show as coming from one of them and even when they were not in any way involved in writing or uploading them. Are others having this problem? What is being done to address it? Is there anything that I could share with my readers that would help them to have their names show on the comments that they offer?

Hm, nothing like that has been reported recently.
Would you please share a link to a post or page on your site showing the problem so we can investigate further?

Here is the most recent sample of many for this problem:

@timplatt532 hmm – I’m looking through these and I think we need more info.
– Is this only happening to Alan? And if so, is he commenting from multiple locations, or possibly from a laptop and from a smart phone?
– I don’t need you to give me IP addresses, but if this is happening to multiple people and they’re all showing from that same username, can you click the “info” button on each affected comment and confirm whether the IP addresses are all different?
