A common tag I use in almost all pages does not show ANY search results
-
When going to “Freshly Pressed” and then onto “Tags” and doing a search for 3D Printing the search results bring back ZERO results. And yet almost all my Blog posts are in the category or have a tag of 3D Printing. How can that be? And NO, neither of your explanations below satisfy that answer. I am quite simply blown away that not only do none of my own pages show up but there are zero hits, period. That just cannot be right.
You’re using too many tags or categories
Your blog is private
Your blog’s content is mature or offensive
Your blog is very newGlenn

Hi Glenn,
When I pull up the Global Tags page for 3D printing, I see your blog included in the search results here.
However, when I looked for you site via WordPress.com -> Tags, I was only able to pull up these search results by typing in 3d-printing (with the hyphen). We’re currently working on updating our WordPress.com search feature and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.
Thanks for reporting this!

Thanks. That now makes sense. If this hyphen “bug” applies to everything then a lot of user searches are going to be very erroneous.
Glenn
