A couple of qustions from a user at loss
-
Hi,
A couple of basic questions here from a Reddle theme user. Hope they’re not completely silly and that this is the right forum (no one answered at the Support Forum..):
1. Can I change the name (and, following that, the web address) of my blog? Or is changing a blog’s web address not possible, and in order to do that I would have to start a new blog..?
2. Say I want to have a bilingual blog – it’s in Hebrew, but I do want to have either an ‘English’ option that will switch the site to an English version, or perhaps an ‘English’ tab under which I can publish translated posts. Is that possible? How do I do it..? Can the fact that Hebrew is written from right to left as oppose to the English left-to-right be a problem and cause display issues?
3. media and photos:
a. A YouTube link I embedded looks really large (much larger than the photos I uploaded to the post and just too big in general). How can I make it smaller (without changing the size of the photos in the post)?b. Another related problem is that the photos in the blog are smaller than their actual size (that is, the size I get when opening them on my computer). I tried changing their size through the media settings, and it did help, but I somehow feel it affects the quality of the photos and makes them look a bit weird. When I click on them and they are displayed in full size (larger than the size I would want them to appear on a blog post, but better than being too small..), the quality issues disappear and they look OK again..
How can I control the size and quality in which they appear and get them to be displayed in the size(s) I want without lowering their quality? Or is it a theme-related issue and the only way to solve it is to change my theme? If so, is there an ‘upgraded’ Reddle which offers this option that i can purchase by changing to a premium plan?
Sorry for the length of this message.. Any help would be much appreciated!

You can change either/or, as you like:
The site title is under Settings > General in both WP Admin, or under My Sites.

Changing the address can also be done. Be very careful with this process:

Several options for multilingual sites are described here:
In your case I would definitely recommend the two-site option:
I’ll reply to your media questions separately.

How can I make it smaller (without changing the size of the photos in the post)? You can control the dimensions of YouTube videos within specific posts by using height and width parameters within the YouTube shortcode. Details are here, under “Video Customization Options”:

Could you please link to a specific post where your images are smaller than you’d like – or don’t look as you’d like in some other way – so I can have a look directly and see what’s going on?
You’ll find links to some good documents about managing images on WordPress.com here as well:
In a nutshell, you pick full/large/medium/thumbnail size when you insert an image into your site. You can adjust the dimensions of what you want to be considered large/medium/thumbnail in your Media Settings.
For each image, can also choose what happens when you click on an image, does it just link to the full-sized image, does it open an attachment page, does it open the image in a Carousel if it’s part of the gallery, does it go to a different link completely.
